Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Norruva platform (the "Service"). By accessing the Service you accept them. They bind every user, whether acting as an organisation, an administrator, or an individual under a company account.

2. The Service

Norruva provides a Digital Product Passport platform for creating, managing and verifying product compliance records. It is built for the European Union regulatory framework, in particular the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (EU) 2024/1781, and it operates under Union law.

Norruva may modify or discontinue any part of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect your use of it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must notify Norruva without delay of any unauthorised use. Organisations administer access within their own tenant using the roles the Service provides.

4. Data

Norruva processes personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), as set out in the Privacy Policy. Production data is stored in the European Union. Enterprise customers are offered a Data Processing Agreement recording the scope, nature and purpose of processing.

5. Intellectual property

The Service and everything in it, including software, documentation and trade marks, remains the property of Norruva Technologies. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the data you upload and grant Norruva only the licence needed to operate the Service for you.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norruva is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data or business. Norruva's total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, whatever the basis of the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by European Union law and by the law of the Member State in which Norruva Technologies is established. The competent courts of that Member State have exclusive jurisdiction.
